One aspect of the Invasion Kenosha is that it provides a competitive environment for those players that are looking for it. Along these lines, the event will use the following system to determine how participant’s fair in the competition aspect of the event.
Battle Points – 40% Overall (60 points)
Each scenario will have a primary and secondary goal. Each of these goals will be worth a certain number of points as defined on that round’s scorecard. In addition, each round will include a number of point modifiers. These modifiers are small bonuses and/or penalties that a player earns for certain things that occurred during the game. An example of an Invasion Kenosha scenario will be available starting on Dec 1, 2009.
Appearance – 30% Overall (45 points)
During the break between game 1 and 2, the judge will score each army based on its appearance. This aspect of the appearance score is worth up to 25% towards a player’s overall score. A breakdown of the scorecard used by the judge will be posted on Nov 1, 2009.
In addition, each participant in the event will be able to pick the army that they feel is the best army in terms of appearance. This aspect of the appearance score is worth up to 5% towards a player’s overall score.
Sportsmanship – 30% Overall (45 points)
At the conclusion of the event, each player will receive a sportsmanship sheet with five statements. For each statement, the player will rank their three opponents in the order of how well they fit the statement when compared against each other. Using the system outlined, the following awards will be given out at the conclusion of the event. No player can win more than one of the following awards. In the case of a player being eligible for more than one, the judge will award that player the highest honor among the choices.
